BPAM has successfully conducted the repeat session of the BPAM Bond Market Workshop Series: An Introduction to Fixed Income and Market Applications on 30 April 2026, following the overwhelming response received for the previous session.

•  Session 2 – “Bond Valuation Fundamentals: Structure, Instruments & Basic Valuation” by Hew Sue Ling, Head of Pricing, who provided a hands-on understanding of Malaysian bond market structure, pricing mechanics and case studies.
•  Session 3 – “Yield Curve Mechanics and Market Application” by Noor Bazlina binti Sharifmuddin, Head of Financial Engineering & Research, covering construction and interpretation of the yield curve as a market indicator.
•  Session 4 – “Measuring Fixed Income Portfolio Return” by Lai Weng Key, Senior Financial Engineer, demonstrating how returns are assessed through a bottom-up portfolio approach.
